Let’s show what we are made of here at Peoria Heights!
Brown-Bag it is a great hands on experience to show many people our musical and art talent. This year, because of the weather Brown-Bag it was held at Northwood’s Mall. Typically it is held at the courthouse.
Mr. Smith’s class got to show off their computer designs, the choir sang two wonderful fun and upbeat songs, and the band played three pieces that made everyone smile.
The choir sang two GLEE melodies mash-ups. Some songs include: Somebody to Love, Lean on Me, Physical, Don’t Stop Believing, Edge of Glory, and much more. There also was a beautiful trio song performed by Larissa Baize, Emmy Teitoff, and Sierra Stein. The band played songs such as 25 or 6 to 4, Boogie Fever, China Grove, Detroit Rock City, I’ll be There, and Wipe out.
After the Heights were done with their performances, we all sat around and watched others school show off their great musical talent. By the end of the day, students had a fun and exciting time and are ready to do it again next year.
