Ryan is the son of Mike and Sherry Klute. He has one sister, Kailey who is a sophomore here at PHHS. Ryan and Kailey have attended Peoria Heights schools since kindergarten.
Ryan was nominated by Mr. Piper, our band director, which is not surprising, since Ryan has been in band since fifth grade. Band just happens to be one of Ryan’s favorite classes.
As part of the PHHS community, Ryan has also been involved in Scholastic Bowl and WYSE for the last three years, and plans to participate his senior year as well.
Academically, Ryan is at the top of his class. He has been on high honors and is a member of National Honor Society. One of Ryan’s other favorite classes is Chemistry 2.
Ryan’s future plans include college, of course. He is still considering what area of study. That decision will help him choose which college to attend.
We at PHHS expect great things from Ryan, as members of the faculty commented, “Ryan is a hardworking and conscientious student. His work is consistently among the best in the class. He has the ability to integrate information from many sources to solve new problems or to answer questions beyond the scope of the class.” “Ryan Klute is a dependable and polite young man. Ryan is always prepared for class and rarely misses an extra rehearsal or performance. Although Ryan is very quiet, he always conducts himself in a way that is an example for all to follow. It has been my pleasure to have Ryan in band for eight years.”
Congratulations to Ryan Klute: first Student of the Month for 2014-2015!!
