This year’s track season has just begun. Practices have been held since last week. The team has been working hard as they prepare for their first meet that is on March 22, at Stark County. If you’re interested in participating in track this season, it’s not too late! Contact Mrs. Barnes, Mrs. Lowe, or Mr. Smith if you have any questions.
Baseball season is finally here! This year, there’s very high expectations of winning conferences and regionals. Offensively, the team will have last year’s top hitters: Blake Begner, Noah Nelson, and Rylee Miller. Along with Rylee Miller and Blake Begner, again Tyler Gregory and Quinn Miller all return this year to make up a strong pitching staff. The team will have the same coaching staff as last year along with the addition of former Peoria Heights player, Jon Lowry. They will play their first game on March 19th at Monmouth-Roseville. The first home game will be March 24th against Central. In other future events, Senior Quinn Miller will be attending Illinois College to continue playing baseball while majoring in Business. We wish the team the best of luck for this season!
